Why Jacksonville families choose Lejeune Dance Company

Getting here from Jacksonville

From Jacksonville, our Camp Lejeune (TT44 Tarawa Blvd) studio is the most convenient if you have base access — about a 10–15 minute drive depending on traffic at the gates. If you don't have base access or prefer off-base, our Sneads Ferry studio (214 Sneads Ferry Road) is roughly 25 minutes south via NC-172. Both locations offer the same full-curriculum curriculum, the same instructor standards, and the same recital experience.

Classes available to Jacksonville dancers

Common questions from Jacksonville families

  • From most Jacksonville neighborhoods, the drive to our on-base studio at TT44 Tarawa Blvd is 10–15 minutes (assuming base access). Plan an extra 5–10 minutes during peak gate hours (morning rush, end of duty day). If you don't have base access, our Sneads Ferry studio is about 25 minutes south.

  • Absolutely. While we're proud of our deep military-family roots, our Sneads Ferry studio is fully off-base and welcomes all families. Many of our most dedicated dance families live in Jacksonville with no military connection at all.
